Exactly! Dealers aren't flippers, they are just business people selling a product. People who ordered multiple trucks, just to flip them are just greedy and cause others to wait or not get their trucks. Dealers pay B&O taxes, property taxes, provide jobs for the local community. Flippers gouge...
I don't have a problem with dealers and the mark-ups they are putting on trucks. They are in the business of selling cars and trucks. If someone has the money, and doesn't mine the mark-up, then more power to them.
I DO have a problem with flippers. I don't have any numbers, but just the amount...
I would like to see an ash tray that fits into the squarish cubbie next to/ behind the cup holders. I have a "cup" with a lid now, but it takes up one of the cup holders. The Ford OEM one also takes a cup holder space. Don't need a lighter option.
Another vote for Tuxmat here. They cover up the sides more than any others I've seen. They are more like a woven cloth/vinyl feel, not the rubber boot feel of others. If you can afford them, I think they are best, as amplified many times in this thread.
That would be Cosco! :) I'm mostly retired, so not commuting regularly. Couple of trips into Seattle for work, 14th year of leading the Xmas tree build and decor at the Seattle Center.
I'm thinking the lane centering is a fair weather friend. Definitely won't see through snow and ice, sometimes looses lanes when its hard rain, and mine seems to only see the double yellow lines at times.
I've always had a canopy, 20 years on my Ranger, but don't like the current offerings for Maverick. So I got a Ford hard roll-up until I can find a canopy I like. We had about 9 inches of wet snow. Went out to clean off truck, and the tonneau has about an inch plus of ice/frozen slush on it that...
So I've done a bit of digging in less posted threads. Found an additional 28 Wa posters, for a total of 110 possible meet-up people. I didn't mark as to how many have a truck yet, walk aways, etc. Just any name that posted in the Western Wa related threads.
Just a bit north of picture, still in the park, is an Ivar's and a Kidd Valley, if they are still there. I used to work for Seattle Opera, and our shop was just across the street from Paccar. Went to the park for lunch often. paneubert, still want to put this together? I'll send you the list of...
I've had my Mav for a month and 1000 miles. I've seen exactly 2 other Mavs in that time, and no one has even looked sideways at mine or asked about it. Made me wonder about how many Mavs are in Western WA. We've mentioned a meet-up here, but I was interested in knowing how many would attend. I...
Two issues for me. The "hollow" front side will fill with snow and dirt, can't you make that solid, more 3D? Second, I don't care for the way they wrap around the side of the fender. Shouldn't project outward beyond the fender at the upper part.
I agree about driving faster than I realized. It's very smooth and easily get up in speed. I've been practicing my "It's a new truck, officer. I'm still getting used to it." speech just in case.
As for figuring it out, I'm working on it. 1000 miles, but I still see some symbol coming up...
I don't know about both, I love my Maverick. I agree the Frontier is a nice looking truck, but is comparable to the Ranger, not the Mav. I had a new Nissan truck a while ago. Didn't last long til it was falling apart after only a couple of years. Had my Ranger for 20. I'll stick with Ford.
