Where in the manual does it say not to hook anything to the battery's negative post. I keep a trickle charger hooked to my 1st Edition all the time now!
Yeah, but they put it in the dumbest position, down in the dark, especially when your car's computer is trying to hibernate and won't turn the inside lights on!

I have a 22 hybrid Lariat and I noticed my interior lights don't come on when I open my front door. And then passenger door can't be opened my hand. Ford Pass says my truck is hibernating but it's not(yet) but it says the battery is low. I had the Battery Monitoring System reset and it worked...
