I drive a 2009 Ford escape hybrid, I have jumped many people off without a problem. Only diff the Mav will have is it's battery location which is under the back seat.
I've lived on bases so I was always close to work, I'm a bit over 100k and it's been coast to coast 3 times and it has been in super hot areas as well as frigid New England. It also had some months where it wasn't driven due to work.
Honestly the only main I've done is oil change once a yr...
Been driving a 2009 Ford escape hybrid bought off the lot and brand new. I love everything about it. Tried to replace it many times, but it kept winning.
I have kept all my new car stickers as well, it's really fun to look at them from time to time. Mav is definitely a better value, no a/c or power anything, and a manual transmission would have definitely increased the cost of the F150.
Thank you for sharing
Did they try to sell you any extra 🐂 crap items? Reason why I ask, the dealership closest to me said I was required to buy a third blinker (rapid system) for 399. I refused, spoke to the GM and they wouldn't waive that requirement. Luckily I found this forum and am now paying 4 percent below...
I currently drive a 2009 Ford Escape Hybrid that uses a 2.5 Atkinson engine over a 100k miles, lived in very temperature extremes, only had to replace rotors.
I have had my 2009 Ford Escape Hybrid since March 2009, I have 100k miles and have lived in New Orleans, San Diego, and Massachusetts. I have only replaced rotors, and I think the 2.5 Atkinson engine is the same one in the Mav. My Mav will replace my Escape Hybrid.
I've read all the posts so far and just want to give you my experience. I bought a new 2009 Ford Escape Hybrid March 28th 2009 for the hybrid rebate, stationed in New Orleans, San Diego, and Massachusetts. Extremes in cold and heat and have several cross country trips with 100k on it. The...
You hybrid is made for idling, but it has to maintain temperature and the hybrid battery. So if you are sleeping at a rest area with the engine on it will kick on to maintain those 2 aforementioned items. If the engine kicks on at a stop sign or heavy traffic, your engine is taking care of the...
Because this is a new vehicle, no real history other than sharing parts with the escape, I will purchase a warranty through Ford. I plan on driving this until the wheels fall off and my warranty purchase on my 2015 Honda CR-V has really paid off. It cost 895 for 8 yrs, 100k miles and it saved me...
My 2009 Ford escape hybrid uses a 2.5l Atkinson cycle engine and the acceleration is great. The CVT transmission slows the response to throttle when starting from a stopping position. I imagine the CVT has improved since then but I have had zero issues with acceleration or durability.
Serving over half my life, the flag displays what makes America what it is.... FREE. Worrying about offending someone else is the opposite of that. Being proud of our country is nothing to be ashamed of.
