Interesting. Looks like you get two more under the seat if you don't have the hybrid powertrain. The battery takes up the space where the two FITS slots are on the passenger side.
I won't say it was the reason I ordered a Maverick, but the Ford Integrated Tether System (FITS) is a fun DIY feature I like. Based on the Maverick feature sheet and the photo above, there are two FITS slots in the under-seat storage, and one on the rear console.

I am an engineer, and I still have a hard time wrapping my head around powertrains. It's pretty amazing what some people can do with a motor and transmission.
My Elantra has 140k miles and a panoramic sunroof with no issues so far. Maybe the pano does better than an integrated sunroof, but hopefully the fix is as easy as the video shows if we do have issues with the sunroof on the Mav.
