    I'd say by filter volume alone, while being shielded from the majority of the under hood ambient temps, this should make some gains in power. Over an open end filter and OEM box. Insulating that box will be key as you have done to help with heat soak. Looks great honestly!

    It's just the fact that they have it on EVERY other vehicle, or least offered, across the lines. Having to buy a Lariat and then a $5k Lux group just to get XM and SYNC on a Mav??? Mehhhhhh

    Has 2k on it and is 2 months old. Has a new K&N panel filter...No smoking inside.

    All seems to be ok for now. I drove it last night and it was shifting normal.

    Our factory, sans K&N panel, 2.0 AWD did a 2.2 60ft. I think you are right about the 2.0 60ft being the optimal number.

    Steeda's Escape lowering springs will likely work. If not, there should be some Mav spec springs soon.
