Just back from dealership. I've always bought my new vehicles in for initial oil change around 3k. (Just can't wrap my head around 10k oil changes.) Service desk actually pushed back, emphasizing how the oil and fluids have advanced in physical properties. I insisted, for peace of mind.
Anybody...
My Maverick came with the Pirelli Scorpion 225/65R 17 ATR. Tire wt: 25.2 lb. Same size Aklimate: 32.8lb. That's almost 8lb extra rolling resistance. What's that do to your mpg?
Love the aggressive tread pattern.
MUSLOGY on my '24. You can see both sides of the part. Rear face is well finished while the 'working' face is fully lipped for rigidity. Just put them on so no long term info to share. Extremely easy to mount. MUSLOGY even includes a quality push-lock removal tool.

My '24 FX4 2.0 EB does the same. I put it down to having an electronic shifter. I've gotten in the habit of looking at the indicator above the steering wheel.
Looking forward to more pics and follow up. Not all of us have your expertise or resources (plasma torch). Maybe a YouTube video?
Keep pushin' the envelope! We're here 😉.
