Thanks for posting...So far we've dodged the snow here at the Jersey Shore and Brooklyn (work), but it's inevitable and it's good to know I'll have a fighting chance 💪
And nice truck!
Thanks for the review! With 11,000 miles, I couldn't be happier with this truck. My only concern is that I commute 65 miles each way to work and the prospect of the dreaded "Dead Hybrid' is always in the back of my mind. Wondering how many miles need to be logged before I no longer need to be...
I applied it a few weeks ago. Water still beads; actually rolls off in sheets. Time will tell, but I'll try to get another coat on before the NE Winter gets ugly
This happened to me last Friday as well (8900 miles).
I called the dealer and he advised me to wait it out over the weekend and see if it cleared on its own. It cleared Saturday after the second start/warm up cycle.
I ran a small "Shark" vacuum to clean the back seat area once, but after turning it off, it wouldn't start again. I assumed the battery voltage dropped and caused an increase in amp draw. Never tried it again
We have a similar commute; I'm 130 daily round trip, also about 70 minutes in the morning and 90 coming home. I'm averaging 44 mpg since March. I expect that to decrease a bit over the winter...
Was looking for a used Tacoma in 2021. Totally blown away by the price for anything halfway decent. A few days later the ad for the Maverick shows up on my phone. "Built" it on the website just out of curiosity, and when I saw the price I clicked "submit order". Almost immediately, I was...
I've seen maybe 5 other than my own. One of those "lives" a few blocks from me.
Encountered a Santa Cruz recently and confirmed to myself that I made the right choice.
Have mine for about 5 months/6000 miles. Hybrid/XLT Lux/CP360. Truth be told after waiting 8 months (July '21 - April '22), when my Sales Rep called to tell me it arrived, I had second thoughts. Like someone earlier mentioned I'm also "cheap" and hated the thought of spending $$ on a car - (I...
XLT/Lux/CP360. I just couldn't justify going over 30G for an entry level vehicle and this trim level has more than I need. The sound system is weak, but most of my listening is talk radio.
I've had it now for 4 months (6000 miles) and it's been great so far! Kids bought me a tonneau cover for Father's Day...Tinting the front windows is next, then in bed LED lights. Already installed the tailgate assist.
Awesome little truck!
I commute 130 miles round trip daily, with all but 10 miles each way on the parkway. I typically stay at or around 65 mph. At close to 6000 miles, I'm averaging close to 44 mpg even using the A/C. On the few nightmarish Friday Brooklyn to Jersey Shore rides home that become stop and go, there...
