Does the OP not have lemon law protection in his state? Or is it not been repaired at a dealership. The comment on one post "I have a new exhaust on backorder" struck me as odd.
I had 2 vehicles attacked by rodents in the last year. My 16 F150 had 75% of the non-engine wiring harness damaged to the tune of $3500 and my Maverick wiring suffered to the tune of $500. The Maverick was outside for only 2 days at it is usually garaged. I now use Fox Urine granules to...
I cancelled a contract on my prior vehicle and switched to Flood about 6 years ago. I took a handwritten statement requesting to cancel to the finance department and let the very unhappy finance guy know that it did not cover one item that I wanted covered. The policy I cancelled was NOT a Ford...
Option 14. You buy it and loan to your son for a year. Give him a document to carry that states YOU own the Maverick and HE has permission to use it. Make sure he is on YOUR car insurance as a driver. After 1 year gift it to your son and then register it in WA.
When I lived in Calif my Sport Trac had passenger plated because it had a hard cover on the bed the day it was registered. With the cover off it was a truck. Gotta luv Calif DMV.
Last March my wife wanted an errand car that got better fuel milage than hers. She also mentioned that I would be ordering a Maverick in June (yea right). Anyway the dealer called her in late April saying they had a customer refusal. The price was 5K over for a heavily optioned Hybrid...
Last April I bought a 22 Lariat Hybrid with every factory option for 5K over MSRP. I have enjoyed it since. If I were to order one now the MSRP would be higher than it was back then. Not 5K higher but at least 2K higher. At that time it was worth it.
How long has the pickup been in shop since new? If FL has a lemon law it may be time to check your options. Sorry your having issues, I love my Hybrid.
For me the Lariat WAS worth the extra $. Mine is a Hybrid with every factory option. I was already spoiled my by 16 F150 Lariat so I did want as many bells and whistles as possible. I bought it for the size as the F150 is a beast to navigate the inner city and park in mini-car sized parking...
For health reasons the HVAC system in our Lariat needs to be in the Recirculate mode. Can the auto control be disabled in Forescan or can the door be disconnected in the Recirculate mode?
