@MikeyCNY took me like 5 minutes, 10mm socket and a screwdriver is all you need. pop off the front duct thingy, essentially rip out the stock airbox, put the new one on, swap one sensor.
reporting for duty in southern nj. did the lastfit switchback front turns and a tinted led rear 3rd brake light so far, have speakers, intake, and more lighting to do tonight
after raising hell each week for the past 3 weeks and contacting FoMoCo and opening ticket after ticket as to where these bolts are, someone finally decided to just let me take the truck home and drive it till the parts come in. Its not like its un-tested, as it has almost 10k miles on it from...
Driveshaft has to come out for the gas tank to come out. there's 2 sets of hardware required, the driveshaft hardware, and the gas tank strap bolts get replaced because it seems that they all snap in half when trying to be removed and have a ton of loctite on them.
No, because as other threads have stated, the driveshaft hardware is one-time-use, torque to stretch. Then there's the gas tank strap bolts which seem to break off instead of coming out. To add insult to injury, there's the muffler clamp that I guess fomoco wants a new one of those installed...
I only had it for (1) calendar day, 2 weeks ago. It's been sitting back at the dealer since 4/2, literally sitting there. Original delivery date was 10/8/21 to the Original Owner, It has almost 10k miles on it, so I'm sure it's fine, but they won't let me have it due to the stop-sale. Also...
Purchased the Maverick pre-owned on 3/31, since it was CPO I have 14 days to cancel the deal and return it. I only had the truck 3/31 to 4/1 and returned it to the dealership on 4/2 since it had a stop-sale on it for the gas tank recall and I guess they weren't allowed to sell it to me in the...
I'd wait, especially if you wanted more options than is on that particular one. I for one wanted all 4 available packages, but found a used one with all 4 packages plus a few things. Here was my sticker and i figured I paid about 36k for it as a ford CPO vehicle...no idea why the 1st owner...
I bought my Maverick 7 days ago, had it for one day then they realized there was a stop-sale on it, so i brought it back to them for fuel tank inspection and trailer-tow reprogramming. The delay, I'm told, is the back-order for the one-time-use bolts for when they re-attach the driveshaft to...
