FYI, I've seen people going crazy over a $30 silicon tray from maxizina/Mabett. Saw another one from Muslogy that at leasted added some functionality- still to expensive for a tray in my opinion though- if it was $10-$15 maybe.

Chemical guys is generally bottom of the barrel stuff that's resold as a premium brand but Turtle Wax and Meguires are cheap AF and perform pretty well so it would be surprising that it doesn't have good initial performance. Usually poor performance is because it can't adhere to the paint due...
Personally I don't think there's not a whole lot of reason to get a soft trifold over a soft rollup- a hard trifold is about $60 more than that gator brand and would at least give you some theft protection.
Sure I'm just saying that $749 is the regular price- I don't know what parts they get from abroad (probably everything)- I'm sure the price will fluctuate in the future based on what side of the bed someone gets up on.
Ceramic sprays are certainly better than the waxes of the past. Never tried that one specifically but they are good enough for me not to want to do a ceramic coating.
That's actually the main reason why I'm going to trade in my Ecoboost for a hybrid - the first few weeks I was driving really stupid because I know I could overtake cars now (vs my 145 HP Crosstrek).
Kind of irrelevant now since there's a stop sale on an OP missed his chance haha
I think you're assuming it's more thought out than it is. It's designed to recoup the 18.4 cents federal gas tax but the math doesn't really math...
Edit: this site says that it expects the states to collect on behalf of of the federal government...
A better solution would be to have the inputs on the back but I think Wolfbox just repackages the hardware with their own software U.I.
On my Maverick I'm pushing the cables against to plastic cover because need to have the mirror as high as possiblle and a cover just makes that worse.
I drove both back to back but don't have long term ownership experience of the Hybrid - primary reason for getting the Ecoboost was that cost difference between the two doesn't make up for initial price difference for several years, even longer now with price increases and proposed federal...
I used matte black textured contact paper that's like $5 for a roll - same thing as the tuff skinzs stuff without the Maverick logo.

But I just pulled them out for something thicker

Chase rack looks cool but it's not functional - I thought about getting one.
The hood graphic would look cool. Not sure about the logo though.
Not a fan of the side stripes at all but that's mostly because they don't really blend into the body lines or angles.
Gold and green are natural...
Car is relatively new and I use a ceramic spray but I find that I'm often blinded by the reflections from the hood since it's so flat rather than angles down. Those of you with hood vinyls can you speak to the effectiveness of reducing glare?
