Not sure how or where people are getting them under invoice but getting them at invoice isn't that hard to do if you order it. If a dealer want's to mark up a pre-order, walk out and go to another dealer. Many dealers now are advertising that they don't go over MSRP because they know that...
Yep, I got one today too. Not a 22 rollover, a 23 order. Scheduled for the week of Nov 28, 2022. XL bare bones hybrid. Should be interesting to see how long this actually takes. My other XL took 13 months to get. Getting a build date this quickly is kind of shocking!
Totally agree. The big selling point for me was that it was a truck with a hybrid engine and was around $20K. Don't get me wrong, I love my Maverick but there is no way on earth I would pay anywhere near $40K for one even if it had every option on it. It simply is not a $35-$40K truck. Once...
This is very true. My Mav showed up on a Saturday evening. They called me Monday morning to let me know it was ready. I was in there by 9:30 AM Monday and by that time he had over 30 messages from people wanting to buy it for much higher than MSRP because they saw it was "for sale" on...
I went through 3 salespeople in my dealership before I picked mine up. Two of them quit and moved out of state. I would just go in and talk to the general sales manager. He/She will get you lined up with someone to finalize your purchase. You have good reason to do this too as there are lots...
That's ridiculous that they are totaling that out. My guess is if this was done during "normal times" where parts were available and there wasn't a million order waiting list, they would fix it. They are probably figuring months of rental car costs, over inflated repair labor and inflated...
The sunglass holder is standard on all models. I have an XL stripped down version and it has one. I agree with the OP though, it doesn't work well at all. I just throw my sunglasses in the otherwise useless cubbie above the display screen.
Honestly, who cares if it is a "sanctioned Ford repair" if the correct repair item is on indefinite back order? If they can't get the part and they have no honest idea when the harness will be available, any reputable repair person should make a temporary safe repair to get you back on the road...
That's the same wording they used in the 2022 confirmation email. Here is a quote from my email back in June of 2021 for my XL that was delivered in July of '22.:
"Your vehicle order is one of the early orders for the 2022 Maverick XL, and because we are building this vehicle just for you, we...
I've had my Hybrid for a few months now and have only had the "braking issue" happen a couple of times. It really isn't that big of a deal, just a bit of a surprise the first time it happens. Because it is a hybrid, braking is a little different than a ICE vehicle but nothing you can't get used...
I was the first order in my dealership last year. Still took 13 months to get and 4 other Mavericks were sold to other buyers before mine showed up. The order position in line at your dealership really has nothing to do with when yours will be built or shipped. Ask me how I know this!
The best...
Nope. You have to wait until you get a VIN and it goes into production before you can start watching it's progress. Once you get your verification email, you just have to wait. My current Mav took 13 months to get. I just ordered another one and fully expect to not get it until this time...
Got my order in this morning for a second Mav for my wife. They couldn't order any yesterday as they said the system was down most of the day. They couldn't order anything which was a bit of a bummer for sales people who live on commissions! Got my confirmation/verification email from Ford...
