The only wires that aren’t 100% hidden are near the back speaker because I didn’t want to mess with trying to pull the speaker trim off. I also fed the wires from the top instead of from the bottom like he did. Overall the wires seem to be hidden pretty well.

I just ran the wires for my front and rear cameras yesterday and found this video to be very helpful.

Do you remember what type of fuse was in the 3 slot, micro 2, micro 3, maxi, etc.? Is there a list anywhere of the fuse type in each slot?

I don't know the technical name of the part, but I believe it holds the tailgate in place. I remember removing it when I installed the tailgate lock.

My understanding is the best method is to hardwire is, using the fuse box, and use an external battery to run the parking mode. That way it doesn't drain the truck's battery and recharge the external batter while you are driving.

Does the attachment point the cable is attached to slide down the rail? It may just be another way to secure an item by looping it through the open end before attaching it to the peg.
