Hi Folks,
Iām looking to buy the 2025 AWD Hybrid, but Iām hesitant about adding the 4K towing package.
Iām quite sure Iāll never need more than the standard 2,000-pound towing capacity versus the 4,000 pounds with the 4K package.
How does this impact resale value? Will it significantly...
Finally, the rust spreading on the roof is 100% normal. Ford said they cannot do anything about it since itās a symptom of rock chips. When I asked them why itās not happening the same way from rock chips on the hood or elsewhere, they were speechless. Theyāre asking me $1000 (CAD) for a repair...
Hi folks!
My Maverick has 34,000 kilometers on it, and my Ford dealer quoted me $210 CAD for a brake maintenance service. They tell me it's a routine maintenance appointment for its current mileage.
WHAT DO YOU THINK?
Do you think this is overpriced, or do you think it's a reasonable deal? Or...
I have been riding the Maverick of a year now. Good truck good price. But you can definitely feel that the Maverick is a low budget truck in the Ford lineup and that the Ridgeline is the highest quality vehicule at Honda. For that point, there is no comparable between the two. But you are right...
Same problems for me but at the same time (rear passenger and air bag) warning. Luckily, it happened when the Ford Technicien was driving the tuck.
After verification (computer diagnostic), the problem was coming from the driver seatbelt buckle.
They ordered the new piece and it took 2 weeks...
Wow, this a very good explanation.
So can I believe that if Ford offers that wheel and tire option itās ok to go with it? I mean that the suspension components wonāt prematurely worn out because of it?
104 vs 102 meanās a more stiff quality ride because their is better reinforce sidewalls for towing heavier.
But (in physics law) what in the world does the tire weight changes to the ride quality (example : when you hit a pothole) ???
Hi, thanks for feedback,
I have order from Ford the Mav with the upgraded Falken Wildpeaks AT 3W (235/65r17).
Here what I got for the weight difference between stock Continentals 225/65r17 vs the upgrades Falkens.
31 pounds for the Falkens
24 pounds for the Continentals
I believe your...
Hi folks,
I have upgraded Falken Wilpeak AT 3W on my Mav. The ride is stiff because of their sidewall being rated 104h vs 102h with stock Continental tires. I understand that the Wilpeaks are 7 pounds heavier (29%) which is a considerable increase in unsprung weight. Believe me, I can feel it...
You are right, the ride is more stiff.
The reason for that is stock 102h rated tires vs 104h heavier sidewalks on Falkens. Those upgraded Falken Wildpeak AT 3W are 7 pounds (29%) heavier, which is a considerable increase in unsprung weight.
I have wind noise coming from the passenger door side. At first, it seemed to be coming from the passenger window and later the side mirror, but it's not. I discovered that if I push the inside door panel towards outside, it stops! ???
I am happy to have find how to stop it, but now, since I...

Hi folks!
Ford preference is 35 psi for their standard 17" wheel tires. I have tried the OEM Continental with 35 psi and the ride was super smooth on bad pavement.
Now, on my Maverick, I have the upgrade : 235/65R17 Falken Wildpeak AT 3W and the quality ride on bad pavement is really stiff...
