The accessport for the 22-24 Maverick does not work on the 25. I plugged it in and it powers up fine. When I click install tune or read trouble codes it just spins like it's trying to connect. The truck was in the key ON position like the accessport says. The check engine light popped on when...
I know. Honestly I feel like the 25 doesn't need a tune. The main reason I tuned my 22 was for the transmission. The trans tune completely changed how it drove. With my 25 in sport mode the trans feels better than my 22 did tuned. I'm very impressed with the 25 so far.
I asked them if it was safe and they said yes. If anything it will just say it cannot communicate. As someone who had their ECU bricked on their WRX once I'd rather not do that with this truck haha.
My dashmat from Dash Designs arrived today. I'm hoping the sun will flatten it out a little. I didn't use the supplied velcro to stick it down yet. Fitment is very good but it does go over the middle speak on the dash in the Lariat.
I use a weigh safe 180 hitch but only because I had it for my old truck. You really don't need anything overkill.
I would buy this if I needed something. I like knowing the tongue weight.

My buddy wrapped the cap and I asked him if I should wrap the trim or buy it in black since they offer it. He suggested buying the black one. For 200 bucks I would just buy it. It looks like it pops off fairly easy.
Making this post to remind myself. I want to change the silver lower trim on my front bumper to the BAP one. I think the black goes better with the black mirrors and the black bed cap.

I would switch to full synthetic and do it myself lol. I would be annoyed with the dealership for sure. It's not a big deal though. Oil is oil and changing a 5K miles is fine. If you were doing like 10K intervals I would be a little concerned.
