After the rack and wiring my friend 3D scanned the empty space in front of the battery. He's going to design a bracket so I can mount a single ARB air compressor and the control module for my switch panel.
We also wired in my third brake light on the bed cap. We used a logic module so the third brake light doesn't flash with the turn signal.
We tested the Baja Designs S2 Sports and they're plenty bright for reversing. They're not fully wired yet. I need to order some wiring and install my...
This past Saturday my friend and I installed my low profile roof rack on the bed cap. It's a Sherpa Crow's Nest Universal. It fits great and assembly was simple. I went with 48" cross bars and it's designed to work with a 5' bed. That's the smallest option length wise.
I plan on adding two...
What’s your budget? Safe to assume you want a hitch mounted rack. I use a 1UP Super Duty and you can fold the rack down and open the tailgate without them touching.
They make swing outs for hitches that move the rack to the side to gain access to the trunk/tail gate. I actually have one on...
Last night I got to see another member's Maverick. He has the Prinsu roof rack for the cab. I'm considering doing it to my 25. I wanted to see how it was installed since you need to drill into the roof. Overall how it mounts looks solid and I really like how it looks. @LouisPetrocelli
Ford only has fog lamps for the Lobo, not most trim levels lol. I'm sure many 2025 XL, XLT, and Lariat owners would love an aftermarket fog light option.
This past Saturday I had roof rails and cross bars installed on my bed cap. I should have done this when I originally ordered it. The bars still a little high so I'm looking for a low profile roof rack that can mount into the rails.
I have an Ecoboost. The fuel door doesn't lock. I'm not sure what the Hybrid fuel door is like. I don't think the fuel system being pressurized would interfere with sticking the keypad there. As long as it closes and doesn't lock.
The keypad is held on with 3M double sided tape. Easily removable and you can put it where ever you would like. I have mine in the fuel door on my 25 Lariat. Make sure to pop the bezel off to gain some clearance.
I've had this happen a handful of times. The app doesn't update for a little over 24 hours. Attempting to refresh the location does not work to fix the issue for me. It usually fixes itself after the 24 hour mark. The issue has to be on Ford's end.
I haven't hauled more than two bikes but I use a 1UP Heavy Duty and I just ordered a Rig'd RambleSwing to make my life easier opening the tailgate. If I was carrying bikes often I would look into a bed rack option. The velocirax looks like a good option though.
