Dude.
Hybrid engines are NOT severe service due to "constant start/stop cycling".
This isn't a carbureted engine from the 1960s running 20w50 oil. Get with the freaking times.
Dang - you're correct. I should have worded it better - basically most miles in a year while maximizing the EV miles is likely to be the highest.
I changed my oil myself last time and reset the OLM. Also easy to verify that the dealer/shop has done it when they change it.

Just wondering how long people's Maverick OLM (oil life monitor) has gone on a hybrid.
My last change was at: 20,900 - current miles: 29,060 = 8,160 miles on oil currently.
OLM estimates 5900 miles to go
Means I could go over 14,000 miles on this oil change! Sweet. We'll see if the estimate...
I've always assumed it was the stupid idea of positioning the mic up on the A-pillar so close to the windshield and side window. Not near the mirror like most vehicles.
OP - you can try looking up the P/N and see if it has changed...
The truck is likely to be just fine, your finances if you get into an accident during the tow... not so much. Imagine your insurance refusing to pay out. That is the bigger risk than exceeding the vehicle capacity for a short tow.
I dunno, I sure miss my GSW (Golf Sportwagen) S - 2016 1.8T gasser EPA rated 25/36 MPG with a 5 speed stick. Yup 5 in 2016. Tall gears, hit 60mph in 2nd. Lifetime actual MPG for me was 38.40. Not diesel. Fit tons of gear and drove sporty and had cheap sized 15" tires!
Camping, climbing and...
They'll disagree because they're selling what you're buying.
2,000 miles a year.
You could run the oil that comes out used from someone else's Maverick and never have a problem.
Save your $ and I'll tell it to you straight:
Putting 2k miles per year on your Maverick means it won't matter what oil you run or test - your truck will never suffer an oil-related issue and will outlive you.
