  1. Truck fell down today (lowered my Maverick + 275/45/20 tires + 20mm spacers)

    Wheels / tires specs: 20x9 +37 or 38 et 275/45/20 Volvo xc90 take offs. They sometimes just barely Rub the front fender liner on the right side in turns now that it’s lowered. No problems at all at stock hight. I did put 15mm spacers on the rear only to make it look better.

    Lol How right you are… But I just can’t stop myself….. been hot roding anything with an engine for 40 years… cars, trucks, motorcycles, sand rails, boats, trailers, semi trucks and trailers, and even a tool box once.

    They are 9” wide wheels with 275 tires. They are just past flush figment by design. I’ve been using spacers on vehicles of all sorts since the 80’s. There is no lug or bolt protruding above the face of the spacer.

    I didn’t take a picture. But yes you do have to cut the excess off. If I go back to the factory stance (I won’t even if I put the factory wheels back on for resale) I’ll have to replace the wheel studs.

    I looked everywhere to find information regarding spacers for just the rear to make the front and rear track withs look more uniform. It’s very hard to actually measure the fender to tire clearance. The fenders duck and dive from front to back and front to rear. I ended up taking the rear wheel...
