Hey Chops.....or anyone in the know. I just found out that Ford's molded rear mudguards
do not fit the Lobo! Fronts are good. FORD...!!
I know Rokblokz has them, but, anyone know IF there are any "molded rears" that would
work?? If not I'll end up with 2 different styles/type of...
I ordered my Redline Tuning hood struts last Sat. and they arrived
today via UPS Ground. That was fast....Michigan to Colorado.
Yes, I did install them today....and they are great! As they were on all
the Mustangs I put them on. On sale for $99.95. Great product, great buy!
Made in the USA!!
Hi Chops...Happy Sunday! I can see where you have offered "a possible fix" but, I do not
think it's the ONLY one that is causing everyone's problem. I think there are those other causes
mentioned by me and the video on You Tube. Apparently, and doesn't surprise me, that there seems to be more...
OK, I watched the vid the guy shows "his issue." I saw a response by someone who watched
the video, and they said...they don't have struts and had the exact same latch issue.
Seems like the tube with the cable, which can be seen with that side panel removed, Ford didn't
allow for that...
Hmmm...seems kinda strange. When the struts are all the way down there is no tension
on the hood and thus should not be on the cable operating the latch system.
I could be wrong....I'll look at You Tube. They are not necessarily a "for sure" place to
go for correct info....but, possibly. I...
Hood struts for sure. Now, I read somewhere here that the hood was basically too flimsy,
aluminum, etc, and hood struts would be a problem??
I have put many hood struts on my past Mustangs until Ford FINALLY put them on as OEM not
long ago.
I always used Redline Tuning struts....never an...
I've seen many posts on MVTC....about easily scratched plastic on
the interiors with pictures. I can tell my new Lobo's plastic use is
extensive and the "quality of the plastic" is terrible.
Doing some research on what can be "applied to the plastic surfaces,
which is most of the interior"...
I've owned almost 80 cars in my lifetime. There's "decent plastic interiors....
and then there's "terrible plastic interiors." Mavericks have the latter!!
Would help IF there was some kind of "quality applied wax or special liquid
that would coat the terribly cheap plastic in the Mavericks...
Yes it does. And I knew that prior. Lariat is the "softer" of the two.
But, there were other things I liked about the Lobo, so after much
head scratching, research.....I went with the Lobo. Just need to
"tinker some" here and there. LOL!!
I know exactly what I bought and what the Lobo is vs the Lariat. I just didn't drive it on ALL types
of roads to know the OEM tires. But, after 76 vehicles owned and this is my 48th new vehicle, I do
believe I know my cars, SUV's, sports cars, and a past couple of Rangers all pretty well.
I...
My research shows that the OEM tires, the Goodyear Wrangler Territory HT
is not a great tire....as is the case with most all OEM tires.
I just had a conversation with my guy at Tire Rack who I've bought lots of tires
from. He knew exactly my issue with the Maverick...whether Lariat or...
Now that I've driven on different types of roads I'm finding my '26 Lobo does not
like roads with "imperfection, or harsh bumps, etc. It resonates hard back to
the suspension and whole truck body. I know it has a more tighter suspension
than the Lariat, which I've never driven and should have...
Greetings...I am new on here. Picked up my '26 Lobo High, 2.0 Ecoboost
in Velocity Blue on Jan. 3rd. Glad I found this Forum since there is a whole bunch of good info. here. Mine came with the spare tire, won't have any vehicle without that. I have coming, Ford mud guards and the tri fold...
