Should I received a new email from Ford after my dealer put my canceled order into priority 10? I've got a form showing my updated '23 build and confirmation I'm at 10 from ford chat, but never got an email. Do they need to add my email on so I get them or am i misreading something?

I wouldn’t be surprised if they put them ahead of currently unscheduled ‘23s, but also build as is appropriate for what supplies they have on hand. For example a canceled 22 and a new 23 with the same build would see the 22 built first. Alternatively a low (or no) constraint new 23 will get...

Comments previous to mine saying they’d probably put em all at priority 2 on the same date etc were postulating that it would be “fair” if ford did that. I certainly never thought they were gonna try and be “fair”

Dunno man. I wasn’t as elaborate before and it doesn’t really matter. Ford isn’t trying to be “fair” and anyone acting like they will be is missing the point

What? They’ve schedule new ‘23 orders that are more complex than mine. That’s what I mean by being “fair”. They’d build mine before that order. You also seem to have missed my point. I was replying to someone else talking about them waiting until 11/31 to move canceled orders into priority 2...

What makes you think ford cares about being fair? If they were “fair” they’d make sure all the canceled with VIN would be scheduled before the new order 23s but that not happening

Really, we won’t get any potential movement til we go priority 2. I’ll be watching to see when people start seeing them update. My dealer said he reached out to his rep to try and get it out to 2, but who knows

Just spoke with my dealer. I was locked yesterday, but as of 1PM eastern he was able to get my build verified and moved to priority 10

Yup. Am aware. I guess I failed at simplifying it.

They can't do anything to the orders until they are 23s are priority 99. Once orders hit Priority 2 they are locked and you hafta drop off 2 to change. If they get a VIN its locked in and there's no going back.

Already touched bases with my dealer and he confirmed no duplicate orders as they use last 4 of your phone number so this sequential system some use doesn’t apply. He indicated 11/9 is the end of the line for changing the 23 with the duplicate order number and then after that they’ll be changed...

Sure it likely won’t be 9 months but there have certainly been people pushed many months.
