I just realized recently that my dashcam wasn't off after going back to my truck, and the 12v plug was indeed staying on after the truck was turned off. I removed the adapter and plugged the dashcam into the Apple Car play USB outlet instead.

Yep! Update is out today, and it mentions the MTE and % fix: Unfortunately, it’s still broken for me. My vehicle still shows as on all the time, with an in accurate location reading. Almost like it is just getting an occasional update from the truck. I can’t use the remote functions right now.
