It just looks like a Maverick with a very good fitting cap.

One exception might be GMs TH400, I had a well built 455 with about 450 hp & added 200hp NOS to that, moving a 5000lb car & never had an issue with it.

Part of the problem is the tires new only had 8/32 of tread, where most tires have either 10/32 or 12/32.

And don't forget the "zippy" big 6 engine that was anything but, you had a choice of a 170, a 200 or 250 engine sizes, the first 2 couldn't pull themselves of a discarded piece of bubblegum:crackup:

I sure would, best vehicle purchase I ever made. Was even thinking about getting a spare one earlier to beat the tar---- I mean price increase, but thought it's better to leave that money for retirement & only replace my Maverick if needed like a crash & then insurance covers most of it anyway...
