One exception might be GMs TH400, I had a well built 455 with about 450 hp & added 200hp NOS to that, moving a 5000lb car & never had an issue with it.
And don't forget the "zippy" big 6 engine that was anything but, you had a choice of a 170, a 200 or 250 engine sizes, the first 2 couldn't pull themselves of a discarded piece of bubblegum:crackup:
Unfortunately, people here are not that smart. Truck guys ask if my little truck gets around 20 mpg, I say no, it's almost always over 30, then I get but, but ,but ....
It's already happening in the BB Bill:sick: Charging these owners extra is a cash grab by the states, take notice when you drive down the road, for every 1 hybrid & 1 EV, that's a total of 2, there are at least 25 full size 4 wheel drive pickups, many with lifts & larger tires that are more...
I sure would, best vehicle purchase I ever made. Was even thinking about getting a spare one earlier to beat the tar---- I mean price increase, but thought it's better to leave that money for retirement & only replace my Maverick if needed like a crash & then insurance covers most of it anyway...
I feel the same way, these roundabouts can get you through quicker than stopping, the problem is they are all different, 1,2, & 3 lanes sometimes, sometimes you have to be in the right lane to go straight, sometimes you have to be in the left lane to go straight, one spot I go through has 3 in...
My Maverick is my "muscle car", well it's the quickest of all the vehicles I own. I hear a few people mention Road America, I live about 20 minutes south of that track.
This intake looks well designed most likely will increase performance, just not big performance, I took the restrictive looking elbow off that is connected to the stock filter box & intake above the radiator, & to me it 'felt' a little more snappy, so when I went to the dragstrip I made runs &...
I prefer this kind of wax product myself, it's a little more labor, but I use an electric buffer, I have tried many of those easy spray ones & they are easier to apply & can leave a nice shine, but they often leave streaks that are very hard to remove & after a couple car washes or rains they...
back in the 80's I used to believe in that saying "there's no replacement for displacement", but that's no longer true, 125hp per liter in mild stock form 150hp easily achievable, & while using less than half the fuel!
