Ok, so day 3 of owning a Maverick and overall more than happy with the vehicle. One thing i did notice is how heavy the steering is. It takes much more effort than any other recent vehicle i owned.....

Sent a message to my sales guy today and asked for the otd price.

MSRP is $29280. Out the door price $31025. Sales tax around here is 6%. Needles to say, i'm very happy with the numbers. Truck should be at the dealership this week.

Direct sales is the way to go. If tesla had anything comparable to the Maverick, I wouldn't bother with ford dealers.

Why is Ford obsessed with splash guards? I don't remember my recent GM vehicles having them as extensive as a typical Ford guard.

So wait, to do an oil change, normally the whole splash guard has to be removed?

Ford Pass is nice but I suspect it being free is a temporary thing. Everything is moving toward monthly subscriptions and eventually Ford will say it will cost you $10 a month to use the features that are currently free.

Yeah i'm fine with running 87 octane in the 2.0 ecoboost. That said, what do you guys think about running 89 during the hottest 2-3 months of the year?

Mine was scheduled for production in the week of 04/12......but already showing as in production. The window sticker is correct and showing the vehicle exactly as i ordered it.
