I was less than impressed with the clamp padding that arrived in the package so got some heavy duty rubberized pads, also from amazon. Note that i cut them a little bigger than the clamps, just to make sure there is not car paint damage.

What i have on my Maverick. Appears to be out of stock currently but i've seen that before and it's always back in stock after a few days.

Very happy with both.
If possible, stay clear from any vehicle with ladders on it. As a contractor, lost count of all the ladders i've seen on other contractors' vehicles secured by nothing more than a bungee cord
Had a similar experience with my dealer. We don't deal with Chase.....run a ford credit application without asking me for permission....finding out FC rate can't beat Chase......now we accept Chase bank.
There is really nothing i hate about the truck. I'd even say i like it but given a choice i'll take a car. Maverick is a very useful vehicle to have in the household. Already knew she loves the Maverick so there was never going to be an issue with the trade.
Actually, the wife is taking over the Maverick as her daily and i'm taking her Malibu. I do like the Maverick but I just prefer cars. Maverick stays in the family and glad it's there. It just won't be my every day vehicle. 😁
$484, something about price protection. Ordered my 2023 Maverick last year in October and received it 6 months later. If there was a price change in between i wasn't aware of it. It was a nice surprise.👍
Nothing that i'm interested in doing right away as my maverick has only 400 miles on it. Down the road when it's time to replace the tires i'd consider bigger wheels though. So.....20s fit or not?
