Thanks for the replies. I drove the eco-boost Maverick and liked it but I am really interested in the hybrid. I'd like to see how it does on long hills.

Does anyone in the St. Louis, MO area have a Maverick?

I currently drive a 2001 Ranger 2.3L 5-speed. On long (1/2 mi. to 1 mi. long) highway hills I need to be doing about 66-67 mph. as I approach the hill to crest the hill at 60 mph. How might the hybrid compare in this situation?
