Itās official I signed all the paperwork today. Ordered October 2022.
My dealer provided full price protection back to time of order. ($3500). Also included free minor body repairs (dent, scratch, paint chips, etc. for 3 years). Also protected interest rate giving me choice of 6.25%...
So looks like 6.25% (5.49% at time of order/8.99% currently), and price protection back to time of order. Still waiting though for delivery so will keep you posted.
Looks like Ford has something in the worksā¦

They seem to be after climate control in box, but the real benefit is pressurizing box to reduce dust intrusion.
Checkout this link to a product designed to help keep dust out by pressurizing truck box with cab HVAC fan.

Has anyone done any mods to pressurize their box under a tonneau cover to help with dust?
If this concept in the link works, the Mav is...
After 18 months itās all good. Dealer was more concerned than me. I was like donāt worry what does a few days matter now. Iām off this week and itās a couple hour drive so that would have been convenient, but it will work out.
I think mine will be at dealer tomorrow. Still figuring out the details, but all indications are that my dealer is really trying to be fair. Iāll keep you posted.
My Hybrid XLT is built and on the way. Ordered 10/22 estimated to arrive March 22 - 28. My dealer claims I will have price protection from Ford and if Ford doesnāt provide it the dealership will.
Their way of keeping me quiet until it gets here so they can not offer price protection.
I hope to...
Unfortunately for the buyers until the demand settles the price will be set by the sellers and they will reference the MSRP and adjust as the market permits.
XL vs XLT is a bit of a tossup for me. Not huge benefits to the XLT, but having to buy wheels out of pocket vs financing it once is an issue. Also MSRP is a big factor in resale. It seems to be exactly what is looked at on used Mavericks and how much above or below the MSRP it will sell for...
I was scheduled for 2/5, switched to in production on 1/31, went back to scheduled for 2/19 on 2/9. Wtg @Ford Motor Company... Went into production again on 2/15. All together I have been in production for 17 days from 1/31 to 2/9 and again now from 2/15 to ongoing as of 2/22. Maybe be finished...
Similar situation for me. My dealer is saying I will get price protection from ford or the dealership. Iām pretty sceptical since my Hybrid XLT went up $3500 + the block heater ($370).
Sorry for your tough luck.
Fortunately for you, youāre not in Canada where @Ford Motor Company increases the XLT price by almost $4000($3500 increase + $370 block heater delete) from 2023 to 2024 MY and then offers nothing.
No rollover private offer just the odd canned message from customer...
