I was always under the impression that only the ford spray in liner came with the logo, I didn’t think they had the logo when it was dealer provided???

Keep an eye on those axle boots, I took my lift back off and luckily it stopped leaking from the boot. Also before I took my 2.5” Superlift back off I measured everything and it showed my truck was 3/4” higher in the front than in the back……?????

Wow so we have Hyundai Kia parts on our trucks……. I know at this point it probably won’t do me any good but the next time I go in for an oil change I’m gonna bring it up and see if they will cover it. Maybe the new replacement axle would have a different style clamp?

I wonder if ford used this style clamp on all the maverick axles because some people with a lift don’t have the axle leaking problem.

If the axle keep leaking and have to get it fixed I probably won’t bother with the lift anymore because I would be worried it would cause the same problem , but if it were to come out as a factory defect I would give it another try but how will we ever know for sure?

I thought about tryin that if it is still leaking after a few hundred miles. After reading all the axle issues after a lift I thought it would tear the boot but maybe that’s not the case with all the leaks everyone is having.

Well I made sure to take note of any axle leak before the lift and there was no indications of a leak before. After install came the leak.

I will keep you posted. I’m pretty bummed about it.

Well thanks for the quick response everybody, I read my lifetime powertrain warranty paperwork and it does say maintenance has to be preformed by a certified shop so I think my next move is goin to a different ford dealership that will take appointments!!

I tried to get an appointment for 20k service and would not schedule appointment for it.

Awesome!! Good to hear that we can do service ourselves and they will still honor the warranty.

Well I just wanted to give an update on my maverick, I got the email that says it’s is scheduled for assembly January 24 vin number and all!! I was really expecting it to tak a lot longer. Cant wait to get it!
