My garage was built in the 70s and both my Ranger and Maverick fit. I think the largest vehicle I would be able to get in there is a Flex/MkT or an Expedition. But the Expedition would be too wide to park a second car in there.
The Ranger is less than a foot longer than a Maverick and less than an inch wider. If it had the same bed length it would be even closer in length. The Maverick isnāt a āsmallā truck either. There are zero places I could park my Maverick that I couldnāt park my Ranger.
Ultimately she won't care that much. The Maverick is a better vehicle for our current use case, so that will be the answer. Well, until the Explorer EV or Ranger EV is out in 3-5 years.
No we donāt. The Ranger is a great truck but the Maverick is pretty much the perfect vehicle for my wife. I drove it home from the dealer almost two months ago, and I havenāt driven it since.

They are all built in Mexico. There have been times where batches of vehicles get another check in Flat Rock. That's happened to Fusions, MKZs, Explorers, and Aviators. Probably plenty of others too. I am not aware of Mavericks being sent to Flat Rock prior to customer delivery.
The Maverick launch is nowhere close to as bad as the Bronco launch. The Maverick launch is fine. Especially considering that there are still huge supply issues out there. Ford has to make choices across their vehicle line. They are building what they can and it is what it is.
