Did you ever have a dealer look into it, if yes what was the fix? Just had this happen to me and had to quickly pull the battery cables to shut off the deafening sound. Dealer scanned for codes quickly and nothing was coming and without duplicating the sound they basically couldn't do anything.
The front USB ports in my 2023 Maverick completely stopped working. When they were working they were charging at normal speed rates. It sucks since I have no carplay until it gets fixed. Hopefully, parts if needed will be available.
Recall popped up in the Fordpass App Now. I called Ford and they mentioned the dealers will provide loaners or rentals to impacted owners for the times they will need to tow. Not sure if this will apply to owners towing on a daily basis or more like myself who only need to a few times a year.
My Ecoboost 4k is covered by the recall. I already took delivery, though.
@Ford Motor Company I think vehicle owners covered by this vehicle should be eligible for compensation. We paid for 4k towing and well can't tow properly.
That sucks especially with that expensive of a repair. I know many people don't like buying extended warranties but something many should consider for the Maverick, especially the Hybrid. Ford ESP is not extremely expensive. Just one repair like this could easily pay for the warranty.
I also picked up my Ecoboost from Chapman this past Saturday. The process was smooth and quick but that was the only good part. My problem is I guess they couldn't have bothered to clean it properly. The Maverick was washed but the wheels were dirty and full of dirt. The tires were not...
The salesperson definitely screwed up by using the price/build tool online since that was for 2022 models. Should have used the order guide. Didn't they give you some type of final order sheet or DORA that would have had the actual 2023 MY prices?
Since there was a $500 price increase on 2/1...
My issue has now been resolved, the final invoice price was done before 1/31, dealer adjusted the price. Please note I knew price protection would not apply in my case when placing the order. I was lucky it was all done before 1/31. A few days later and I would be out of luck.
Hitting a slight issue with taking delivery of my Maverick. Since my pricing is based on invoice, not MSRP and the dealer wants to charge me the extra $500. The vehicle was built on 1/24 and shipped on 1/27 before the price increase. The window sticker has a date of 1/18. The question is...
Rollover 2022 Chapman Horsham Order:
Eco, Lariat Lux, 4k, CoPilot 360, CoPilot 360+, Remote Start, Opt Tire
Original order date 12/12/21. Reorder 9/16, received ford email 9/16
Extremely angry that the private offer will not cover the price difference for the same options as 2022 and loss of...
As I thought for many people with EcoBoost Lariat Lux packages, the private offer is not enough if you want to build the same truck. Given they dropped the bedliner and other items from the Lux package. Build Price 12/12/2021 $36,460 new build with above prices $38,840.
Thanks a lot @Ford...
Looks like Chapman Horsham added a disclaimer to their emails sometime in 2022 stating that they are not honoring price protection and the 3 or 4% discount would be based on invoice pricing at delivery. For most of us who ordered in 2021, this disclaimer was not present, and as such the...
