Let's keep it real... it's generally known that Japanese vehicles are more reliable than any others. Yes there are exceptions- but in general it holds true. With that said I drove an 84' Chevy over 400k. If you maintain it, drive it like an adult and don't get unlucky, American vehicles will...
I have it... it's ok. Not as good as the sliding rear window on my 02 frontier. It's a pretty small opening. I wish it was the older design where the entire "square" pane slid, not a smaller cutout
I had to use the full size spare. It worked fine and was WAY better than a donut. Not sure why it's even an option, donuts should not be a thing. Whike driving with the FS spare, I could not feel the difference. I have an fx4 with the 17's. Might notice a difference with the larger wheels...
Crickets here. I just got my first oil change... going with full synthetic because I'm trying to get it to last 200k!
I'm guessing that's optimistic for a turbo4.
I ended up (from someone's advice on here) ordering through the website, since the app didn't work. Points + 20% black Friday discount, means I got a soft tonneau from Ford for $100. Still, dealer delivery only is a huge pita. Already drove out there to find out the parts dept. Was closed...
I love the rotary shifter. And I read on this site the best technique- with the 'spin without even looking'. It's great and takes up no space. From R to Drive you just flick it. From Drive to park you flick it the other direction. No need to worry about end spot as long as you do half a...
I do tri's too, so I definitely get it. I would still find a solution in the bed. Like a tuxedo sentry and some kind of soft matting to lay the bike down, easily would fit with the front wheel removed... a lady sized bike may not even need the wheel off. But yeah nothing wrong with removing...
Same here. Fx4, w/o 4k tow. Love it... I never tow, ever... but wouldn't mind it just for resale value. If I get better mpg then no regrets. I'm getting 26mpg and I'm heavy on the gas.
Also just did 800 miles in a brand new '23 f150, 2 people, luggage and 2 bikes. the mav would have...
My ecoboost fx4 has had zero problems so far. 🤞 I love it. Super easy to whip in and out of traffic, great mpg (25.5 avg and I'm real heavy on the gas). Filled the bed up with big ebikes and lumber.
Always liked toyotas, but they are $15k more for the comparable vehicle with far worse mpg.
Great pics. I have an fx4 and I LOVE it. Truck is fast as hell and the right size to whip through traffic. Haven't done any real offroad yet... but will be babying it when I do
Yes... i agree. Post was premature. The mpg varied heavily after I filled it up myself the first time. This was definitely because the engine was literally brand new and with so few miles not even close to accurate. I almost looked this post up to recant
Believe it or not, I pedal most of the time. Pedal assist 1 makes the bike essentially weightless. I use the throttle when in traffic or a hurry. Lots of fun and now with the Maverick I don't have to do 15miles of street t reach the trails
