So.....Redline Tuning has been making hood struts, in U.S. since......2002 also!!
Ann Arbor, Michigan. Hmmm...any connection between your two companies??
Their stats.......
are what you say about yours! I've purchased at least 5 sets of theirs with no issues.
Always perfect fit, and always...
I do the same. Take my time when doing each "pull."
And I have Redline Tuning Struts and...Made in U.S. .....no drilling, direct bolt on to existing
Ford hardware, no issues.....and same price. I'm satisfied.
I think MRT is playing catch up, since Redline has been in the engineered strut...
Installed my RokBlokz mud flaps on front. Will do rears Sat.
This has been said before and I concur. The screws used are
yes, silver, sucks, and the metal is on the softer side...heads. The
screws are VERY tight going in to those orange plastic "clips."
To make it a little easier, I first...
That "max weight issue" will tax your trucks brakes, esp. on downhills. The extra stress
overall on a "no frame" truck is dangerous....IMHO.
If your trailer does not have it's own braking system and you are not using "sway control"....
I feel you are taking chances that are totally avoidable...
My '26 Lobo does not have any shutters "gone." Complete coverage both upper and
lower areas. So far, I do like them in this colder weather allowing that 4 cyl to warm up
faster. Doesn't take too long to have some heat flowing.
Always work just perfect and look just fine. Can pay more and get chrome look ones.
I stayed with black with their red logo lettering. What I've always especially liked about
these is your hood is allowed to go up farther....that what the "stick" allowed thus giving
more room to play under...
Thank you for standing up and acknowledging your comments weren't warranted. Mustangs are
fun, and I've enjoyed all 12 I've owned going back to my first new one a 1989 GT. All were GT's, and
or 2 Cobra Mustangs, and 1 Saleen. All new. All fun to modify...mostly exhaust and some lowering
for...
I just wrote about me putting the Redline Tuning struts on my '26 Lobo. Have put many of these
on past Mustangs. U.S. made, well thought out for the vehicle you want them for. I also addressed
a concern that was raised about the "hood shifting" because you have to remove one nut for
the...
Not trying to fix anything! Again...curious, asking questions. Some folks go overboard with
responses assuming I'm ripping apart my shutters.....gee whiz....come on now.
Oh, I'm not worrying. Just curious about new things with my new '26 Lobo. If you don't ask,
then you don't know, you don't learn and you don't grow! I'm past 70 so I KNOW life is short!!
I love the car world...yes trucks and SUV's, plus motorcycles in my past. When you've owned approx. 75...
I drove more today with the new Contis installed. Definitely the overall ride with
the Lobo is better. Now, for me, the Lobo is more enjoyable to drive. Damn quick
in Sport Mode and more fun to drive, as others have commented on.
Hey Chops....what do you know about these Active Grill Shutters? Read all kinds of "stuff" about
problems, then how to disable, remove them etc.
I think this was on earlier models...and maybe, mostly Hybrids??
Anyone can surely jump in on this too. I'm hoping my '26 has the past...
Yes, get them in different colors and if black you can get different colored Logos of theirs
on lower left corner. OR....black and black like I ordered. I did contemplate about the
blue logo for awhile.....Hmmmmmm???? LOL!!
The Conti DWS 06 Plus tires are on my Lobo. 235/55/19's. Slightly wider. And YES they do
absorb the harsher street "bumps" as I was sure they would. Smooth, very good ride considering
the Lobo has a tighter suspension, etc. Totally happy with them as I have been in the past with
all my...
OK, so that's your Lobo I presume. I was starting to realize that the bolt hole location was the
same on all Mavericks, it's the rest of the "molded Ford ones" that keep the rears from fitting,
thus the holes don't line up then.
The Roks look fine. I've used them once before. I mounted the...
How do the holes line up with the Lobo, since they are different on the other Mavericks??
RKB doesn't show different for Lobo vs other Mavericks.
And can't buy just rears I see. I've got Ford molded on front, found out after the rears from
Ford don't fit Lobo's. Sucks!
Help a guy out...
