You need a piece that goes on that awful white trim that runs from around the infotainment screen over to the right vent (around the left vent as well) on XLTs and lariats. Can’t do much about the same white crap on the doors. I call this stuff porta-potty plastic.

Yep. This is the one I’ve used without issue in a Lariat and an XL. Connects within seconds of getting in the truck. Takes longer to select my drive mode.
