That is what Trip 1 quoted. I watch each tank separately and some were 8.9mpg another was 15.2mpg.
Obviously lower when uphill in mountains, and higher when going downhill or flat lower elevations. I only said average because I am anal enough to track every tank separately.
Had a blast with our trip to Keystone. 2 states, 1,300 miles, 13.4 mpg average.
Mesa Ridge Travel Trailer weighing in at 4,200 loaded, 450# tongue weight, 75#puppy in bed/w 35# crate (yes I said puppy. He is 7 months old), 550# passenger and luggage in cab.
The Maverick did awesome. No...
I have towed my 3,900# Highland Ridge for many trips. The only problem I had was once when it was windy and I forgot to put it in Tow/Haul mode. It seemed to slip and lose power. However the truck told me the trailer was swaying in the wind!! I switch the trans to tow/haul and it stopped. Never...
I am 5' 6" and have a 5' 8" wingspan. I put the seat all the way down and steering wheel all the way out and about halfway height wise. It is real comfortable for me. (I like my legs stretched out when I drive.)
a) Not a joke. I posted a pic of what the vent should look like if it had an on/off slider. The Maverick does not have this feature, hence the pic.
2) Sliding the vent all the way to the right or left does not turn the vent off.
First world problem for sure. But hey, looking for solutions in...
I got the best dealership for my Maverick. All oil changes and tire rotations free every 5,000 miles for as long as I own the truck! The wild peaks are a 50,000 warranty tire. I have 17,000 on them now with 3 rotations and show almost no wear. I will get the 50,000 out of them for sure.
My dealer does engine for life warranty for free. That gives me free full synthetic oil changes every 5000 miles for free. You went to the wrong dealer. So far 14,890 miles and 3rd oil change is coming Monday!
I took my camper out 2 weekends ago. 3870lbs dry weight. Did great on the way there and back. 8mpg on the way there with 30mph wind gust, and 11mpg on the way back 6-8 mph wind. Weight distribution hitch is a must when maxing out that 4k tow package.
Power was more than sufficient. had trailer...
You need to report them to the better business bureau. People still use the BBB to find reputable businesses. Also, they will have to answer your claim publicly.
I changed the oil every 10,000 miles with full synthetic and every other tank of 87 octane i used additives. Never had any issues other than the shuddering because of carbon build up in the turbo. Fuel system cleaning from dealer fixed the problem. I drove her pretty hard too.
My understanding is the Larger radiator and fan of the FX4 is needed for the 4k tow. The Tremor would overheat under the weight. They put in a different smaller radiator to give a better approach angle in the Tremor.
