What I have on my Hybrid Lariat with Lux package is not blind spot mirrors but on or embedded in the mirrors are yellow lights or LEDs that light up when someone is passing you and are in the blind spot. If that is what you are thinking of, they wouldn't work for backing into a spot.
The timing was right. We have had 2 previous hybrids and I wanted to stay with them. The wife said she would like a truck this time around and I just found out about the Maverick hybrid. We got it after a year wait and are enjoying it now.
Has anyone cut out the inside of the cubby? I have something I want to put in it but it is a bit too large with the opening as it is. If I cut out around the edge, it should fit but I'm not sure what is behind or if I would cause any damage to anything in the dash area. Suggestions are welcome.
I bought one of these for bumper protection and to use as a step:

I have a Hybrid Lariat with all options except for moon roof and noticed the first time I put the truck in reverse...
Not posted but analyzed from many posts:
I couldn't afford my Maverick so I am making high payments on it and am investing several thousand dollars to add a bunch of stereo stuff and other options that I also can not afford. (It's the bank's money and I'll spend it any way I want!) The kids can...
Some insurance companies are already putting chips, or monitoring devices in vehicles to record speeds driven and other info to charge rates accordingly. I assume that they could also record miles driven, if they don't already. They may already be in some of the newer vehicles, but that's...
Just to make things interesting, here in KY, if you bought your Maverick for personal and/or family use, you can put regular plates on it like all the cars have. If you bought your Maverick for business, you must have truck plates on it and if you own a farm and use it for farming, you can put...
I just ran a quick check of the net and found no running boards for us Hybrid owners. Has anyone found a source yet? The first vendor to have them will sell a bunch when the word gets out.
I see several different answers, so I suggest this:
Start your truck. While it is in Park and running, turn your light switch (on your left) to off. Observe your display. Now, turn it one notch and see what comes up on the display. Continue to do this and observe your results. This should give...
The person that wrote the "Ford Reservation refund" either has English as a second language or didn't get past the third grade in school. Are you sure this came from the dealer?
Wow! All that add-on stuff is what they call rip-offski in Poland. None of it is needed and the other add on is just pure greed. It should sit there and just rust away. Go to another dealer unless you have so much money that you don't care about giving it away to that shyster dealer.
I have a hybrid and do not charge it or see a reason to charge it. If you have some kind of battery problem, maybe charge it but for normal operation, there is no need to charge it.
