We've had our '23 Atlas Blue Lariat Lux hybrid for a little over a week. I've gotten quotes from both ARE and Leer/SnugTop and the latter are over $1000 more for essentially the same configuration (cab height, slider in the front, rack rails on top but no actual rack).
Does anyone have a good...
I purchased one of these based on this thread. Installation was pretty straightforward. It's outside in the first real rain since I installed it. We shall see what we shall see in the morning.
But it looks nice and latches well. As I have no prior experience with such things, I don't have any...
We have had our Atlas Blue 2023 Lariat hybrid for a week now. So far, we really like it. After 14 months of waiting, it needed to be good, and so far it seems to be.
We have added an inexpensive roll-up tonneau cover from Amazon (yesterday), a divider for the glove box and that's about it so...
My wife and I were looking under the hood of our brand new 2023 Lariat hybrid (took delivery yesterday) and I saw that same bracket and wondered the same thing...
Well, it took more than a week. The Mav arrived at the dealer on Wednesday November 8th and we picked it up yesterday (that's the biggest check I've ever written).
Now wrestling with all the little details a vehicle swap involves, both bureaucratic and physical. But it sure is purdy. Our red...
Here’s hoping that when our 2023 is finally delivered (built right at the end of September) all of these TSB-related updates will have been done during the build. We shall see (soon, I hope!)
That’s very interesting. My 2023 Lariat hybrid is still sitting three-hours-drive away (per the dealer). But that Diamondback cover looks very interesting. If I decide to put on a high-quality hard cover, I will certainly look at these.
Thanks!
Our 23 Lariat Hybrid is somewhere between Hermosillo and Auburn, WA. But — does the truck warn you you're locking the keyfob in? We have two keyless entry vehicles now (2013 Mazda3 and 2016 Kia Soul EV). Both complain bitterly with the onboard beeper when you try to lock a fob inside (often in...
I've only looked at the first and last pages of this thread, but....
We ordered Lariat Luxury hybrid with all the driver assist stuff on the second day of the order window last year. Got a "scheduled" email just days before we were supposed to go down and do the rollover-to-a-2024-order...
Thanks for the additional info. Certainly your setup is an approach to consider other than what I was thinking. Oh well, I’m not going to get too worried about it until I have a Maverick built and at least on its way to my dealer south of Seattle. At that point I’ll probably contact the Thule...
I am going to have to figure something similar out if/when we get our Maverick (supposedly scheduled to be built the week of 9/18), as my wife has a 17 foot Seda Swift sea kayak. We currently carry it via Thule Hullavators on the roof rack of our 2013 Mazda 3 hatchback. The Maverick will...
That is interesting. I (theoretically) have a Lariat Lux hybrid that is supposed to be built the week of September 18th or I'd surely be interested in this. Dare I ask which dealer in Pierce County has it?

Nothing. I only got to drive that Galaxie 500 once. With the T-Bird 390 under the hood. It really did scoot.
But my immediate family was mostly an imports family as I was growing up. My first vehicle memory is of a 1959 VW bug. It was succeeded by a '63 VW bus, and then Dad bought a 1967 Datsun...
The Maverick, if we get it, will be my first Ford. The last Ford in my family that I can recall was my grandmother's 1963 Galaxie 500 with the 390 V-8.
I've had two Mazda B-series trucks (before they were re-badged Rangers), a B2000 which was replaced by a B2600i after the first one was totaled...
My wife and I just got back from a 3400 mile road trip from the Seattle area to Las Cruces, NM and back (sadly, not in a Maverick but in our 2013 Mazda3 HB with six-speed manual). I spotted exactly one Maverick on that trip — an ecoBoost 4WD model (I forget the color) with several bales of hay...
My wife and I just got back from a 3400 mile road trip in our 2013 Mazda3 hatchback (six-speed manual) and we are fervently hoping that the next time we make this trip it will be in our Maverick Lariat hybrid (ordered the second day 2023 orders were open). Thanks for the report.
And yeah, those...
The Maverick will be our first hybrid (if we ever get it — ordered a Lariat hybrid the second day orders were open). We have a full EV (2016 Kia Soul EV) and a Mazda 3. The Maverick will replace the Mazda.
I had been wanting a small pickup for some time, but not at 20-ish mpg when the Mazda has...
