considering some new 18 x8 wheels. et43, was thinking of running a 235/55/18 but it's slightly smaller than the 17 factory wheels then. So maybe a 245/55/18.. I'm lowered on Eibach springs.. Any concern that the 245/55/18 would rub? Offset calculator shows inner of wheel 17.7mm closer to...
Yes I realize that. Overall diameter is probably very close to factory. But I would be the combo weighs atleast 10lbs plus per corner and wondering how that has affected mpg. Looking for some real-ish world data to decide if I can justify it
Having a hard time finding options myself. Really want to go 20” wheels but I’m not sure I want to deal with the mpg hit. I commute about 75 miles per day. What kind of change did you see in mpg?
I’m considering 20”s also but curious how these affected your fuel economy/ acceleration. I put on about 22-25k per year and just curious what I can expect
Looks good! I considered those rims but I just can’t get past the logo attached to the rim. Looks like it’s permanently attached and not removable, is that correct?
Good to know I’m not the only one. Eibach confirmed I have the old version of springs and are sending out the new ones. I’ll have to swap them out and see if it’s still happening
Don’t have most of those issues. Just the first call I make everyday has no audio so I have to hang up and call back. Seems to only happen when using wired CarPlay with either usb or usb c. Doesn’t happen with wireless CarPlay adapter but my wired connection sounds better. Also doesn’t...
Have the eibach lowering kit on my Mav. Eco with awd. They started making some noise on slow turns, like a clunking or binding sound. Saw someone else here suggest to call them. Sent them my info from the springs and waiting to hear back. While taking a picture of that info from the springs I...
If your new wheels are the same diameter and width as the factory wheels and the only difference is the offset then the new wheels will sit 14mm farther in
I don't have any functional issues with mine but I would like to have a nicer quality and larger screen. I get it’s a budget truck but they skimped a little on the radio. But no real complaints from me, I work in the car audio industry so I see the bigger and higher resolution screen all day
Agreed. They have a 9" modular radio as well, might have stuck up a little more from the daah but probably could have filled that space nicely. I noticed they show just the wiring kit online so maybe someone will custom make a mount for the larger screen
