  2. New Maverick Models / Variants Are Coming Says Ford

Not a good thing. Their goal is to get the Maverick into the same price range as a F-150-250.. And that is where it will end up.
  3. Senior citizen Maverick owners thread

I am 73 years old and got mine about a month ago. 23 white XLT hybrid, lux, bap, 360 and I love this truck. Retired from farming and haven't bought any $5 diesel for my Dodge since I got the Maverick. My Fuelly app says I get 44 mpg and the Truck computer showed 44.4. Amazing how it can be that...
  4. The stock audio system is great, actually. Here's why.

Well I have never turned mine on so I assume it is fine. Of course I have just had mine a month so I am sure someone will turn it on sometime.
  5. Mud flaps reduce MPG fuel mileage?

Looks like the mud flaps will cut fuel mileage a bit and increase engine noise. Both minor but there. May require removing them and checking the numbers. On my normal drive have noticed about .3 mpg decrease.
  6. 17 inch "Full Size" spare vs. 18 inch, Any one else?

It will work just fine. I did look under mine it has a full size tire under there but I doubt it is an 18 like the rest but it will work just fine if needed and no it will not hurt anything. Sleep sound tonight. Rate this problem right up there with the gear shifter situation.
  7. Dealer charged 27,960 FordPass points for oil change and rotation

I am a big fan of dealer service while under warranty. BUT there is a limit. I do not expect them to change oil for what I can get it at the parts store they have to keep the doors open and that cost a LOT. We are at the point we have to ask numbers first. Service records have saved me a bundle...
  8. 2023 Maverick XLT delivered Saturday September 23rd! BUT check engine light came on and current sits at dealership

Just because parts are new doesn't mean they are good. You are way more likely to discover defective parts when new than after some run time.
  9. Week One with Hybrid

Monday picked up brought home washed really well. It was only rinsed off with hose at dealer per my instructions. Tuesday- Waxed with Turtle wax graphene past wax and entire Truck coated with Turtle wax...
  10. One year to the day It arrived at the dealer.

Well I brought it home today. First time I ever was in one quite impressed. For the price I was impressed. I am 72 so less is more don't need a lot of gadgets but it has all the important ones. Dealer experience was great no BS or hard sell for stuff I didn't want. If there was one thing I...
  11. Teamsters will honor UAW strike (No Deliveries)

Nearly all deliveries are made by owner operators not Teamsters.
  12. One year to the day It arrived at the dealer.

I ordered my Maverick on Sept 15 2022 and it arrived at the dealership today. Going to check it out tomorrow and pick it up Monday.
  13. Ran the numbers on miles it takes to "Break Even" with the higher price of the Hybrid Maverick 🙇🏻‍♂️💰

Well I got one joy riding or setting in a boxcar somewhere and as of this Friday it will be 12 months.
  14. Couldn't even get to a thousand miles before check engine light

I have bought a lot of equipment over the years that cost a lot more than the Maverick and you will always have more issues when delivered than after use. Just because parts are new doesn't mean they work. And it's better now than later.
  15. 600 Miles Per Tank Hybrid Maverick club

Well I can honestly say I will never do that. 1/2 a tank is empty to me.
  16. RealTruck Discount.
