In the past week my 22 xl hybrid indicated a “check engine” icon appeared twice. The first time I went to the dealer and it was resolved as a “computer reprogram”. A week later it reappeared. I’ve seen on line that the icon can be removed and perhaps my system error could be temperamental. I...
Looking on line at yeti coolers there seems to be few places to anchor on a lock and steel cable. The handles appear adjustable/removable which adds to the frustration.
I live in the Bay Area of California. Gas is still above $4.50 a gallon. The hybrid offers compatible seating for 5 and reasonable quiet driving. It also doubles as a working truck. I can’t get my Prius to accomplish all that.
I own a Prius and an xl Maverick. The Maverick is smoother, quieter but the Prius still has better mpg. The Maverick averages 42 mpg while the Prius delivers 49 mpg. Both have seamless shifting. I tend to drive the speed limit and tend not to “push” these vehicles .
If it’s the Ford factory installed bed liner you will have to remove it to find the bolt connections and cut out the bed liner plastic to anchor the bed extender. Their liner covers all the features advertised in the truck bed.
The xl does not have a back seat center arm rest all other lines have this feature. I believe the Lariat model has electric controls where xl and xlt have manual control. The Lariat has the synthetic leather and can option for electric heat.
Who would have thought a year and two months ago my tmpulse purchase buy would be cost saving. I admit there was a wait but the order process and purchase price were kept to a minimum.
Sorry to hear about your Tacoma. The Maverick will be worth the compensation. If you have a garage keep it secure or if you leave it out get a robust alarm system. If you go with the hybrid you’ll like the mpg....it’s astounding.
