Same here. I assume the USB device driver doesn't respond fast enough and it jumps to a previous source, for me it's FM. That said, I don't think this has occurred since the last update.
I used 303 Marine protectant (supposedly their best) on our pontoon boat plastic, fiberglass & vinyl. We lived up in New England at the time and I reapplied it every month. It helped, but was nowhere near a UV block.
I disagree with the ground issue. I'd bet $20 that it's the amp staying on because the automatic sense isn't working properly. I'd connect the remote turn on.
A slightly different layer of plastic embedded in the glass does not seem likely to change the heat transfer function in any noticeable way. Keeping a cold windshield cold so the snow doesn't stick makes a HUGE difference.
You are adjusting the gain. There is no reason to turn it to any certain position. Optimally, put a scope on it & turn the head unit up until it clips/distorts, then back off a little, now set your gain on the amp to where the amp clips/distorts and back that off a little. You have now set...
My wife's vehicle is a 2020 hybrid Escape. The original battery lasted 4 years and 60k miles. It was regular lead acid with a vent/drain from it's placement under the spare tire inside the passenger compartment. How did that battery last so long? Did they forget how to charge batteries...
You didn’t say what year your truck is. My 2025 ecoboost uses a 2127 motorcraft filter. Dealer sold me a 910 which didn’t fit, went back & they didn’t have a 2127 in stock. O’reilly had it. Not sure when it changed
"New vehicles are electronic devices that happen have a vehicle wrapped around them." That was a quote from an automotive design & testing software conference almost 10 years ago.
No complaints about the territory HT here. Only 5K on them, but no noticeable wear, ride well, good in the wet, no noise, no squeal cornering. Just did my 5k oil change yesterday and will be rotating the tires today.
I would think that anyone who has tracked fuel mileage through an entire year before has noticed the 1+ MPG drop when they switch to cold weather fuel blends, unless you live in Florida.
My guess is carplay dropped and you only have bluetooth audio connectivity. I'd remove the related carplay and bluetooth configurations from the truck & your phone, then setup new connectivity.
Escalate up the food chain. If the service writer said no, ask to speak to the service manager. If he says no, asking him how to contact the district manager. They should be able to cover this under "goodwill".
Since the ios26 betas started I've noticed Waze can't display a full screen on my 2025. Works fine in the normal 3/4 view, but when tapping full screen view, the map doesn't display. This functionality has bounced in and out with various levels of beta code. They finally got it working when 26...
It appears that SYNC5 does exist and is rolling out in some late production 2025 models.
