The turbo version will be more fun, but it will cost you in terms of upfront cost, gas, and maintenance.
For perspective, my twin turbo 3.5 needs 2 new turbo's, I'm looking at a $4,000 repair bill. Granted they lasted 150,000 miles.
Anyway I'm getting the hybrid
Funny, I was thinking about the lack of power mirrors the other day. I went to adjust my passenger mirror and it doesn't go up or down anymore. I can't remember the last time I used them. I'm a set and forget guy, and it will only be me driving 99% of the time
I guess I am their target demographic. 30, no kids, and a truck is too big for my needs. I will use the maverick for outdoor stuff, towing a small trailer, and stuff around the house
I wish they offered CC on the XL because the XLT has nothing else that appeals to me, especially for the $2500. I want CC for those longer drives, but I don't think it is worth the cost. I will just save my money, get the XL and add an aftermarket CC at a later date.
