    My guess is, they have to write up the procedure and assign it code to assist in claiming compensation just like they would on a recall, because effectively it is. Then distribute info to dealers.

    Honestly, your best bet is to make friends with the shop foreman at your local dealer. Most of the ones I've been acquainted with usually have a strong background in electrical issues., and are proficient and knowledgeable about all the things. Caution: they can be grumpy and bite.

    Totally agree. It suits my purposes well, with the normal size. I get it that big boys need want big toys, but old women just need to be livin'. While some of my truck will click the want buttons, I need a vehicle that can be useful. It's a tool.

    It does look very clean with the cover. I may get one too, since that is something I can obviously install myself, and looks so good.
