I sell parts for a living. It's ALL a crap shoot. You just do the maintenance and pray. I've seen problems with every manufacturer.

So, here I am, a month after my original scheduled build date. The date has now been scheduled for next week, which is sooner than the last build date I had. I am hoping this one sticks. This is the 5th build date I have gotten since August.

Oh no. I hope I don't have issues with it as well. When I ordered mine there was brief discussion about x plan, but nothing concrete. And I'm sorry. This must be very disappointing for you.

The ones of us who ordered AWD do, because we are supposed to get Snowmaggedon 2.0 here in Texas this winter. That's my whole reason behind ordering the Maverick.

I have had my EB orderd since 6/30. They haven't built it yet. My salesman said they have the mats..don't know why mine is in limbo.

Oh, I've done that. I have a production week...the only problem is that week has been changed 4 times. I tried to find out if the delay was due to material constraints on my options, but my salesman "assures" me the materials are available if I have a VIN. I just don't understand why the delay...

Okay, after 5 calls to my dealer I finally got a copy, and I am a 10 (well, priority code, anyway; physical appearance maybe a 3... .lol). So that's not the holdup. Arrghh.

I am having a very difficult time communicating with my salesman, and if I ever buy another vehicle, it will not be thru him. This is the 3rd and final. I got nowhere when I called him Friday about a few things. I don't imagine he would help with this. I am going to call sales manager tomorrow.

I know I did, but organization in my personal life has never been my strong suit. At least I now know what I will be doing tonight 🤣

I had signed, given copy of license, etc., but called my dealer to make sure it was verified. When I called I had to leave a message. When he called me back, he assumed he knew I wanted an update, so checked status before he called me. Last week Ford told me week of 11/08 build....my salesman...

When I called last Friday it was 45 minutes. I waited till I was driving home and was fortunate I did not drop the call.

I thought Ford was waiving the upgrade charge on orders for FWD that wanted tow before they changed that build?
