Chips, it’s the only reason. Your truck is sitting in a lot awaiting chips. Since we know the build projection for hybrids is increasing March / April, I’m guessing that chips are scheduled for delivery at that time. We know things don’t happen quickly so reasonable to think more like April/may.

Bill Ford interviewed on CNN this morning. Bill Ford says chip shortage should begin to elevate 2nd half of 2022. Take from this what you will. My take “should begin” which means to me later delivery.

I was told yesterday by dealer you will have the option of finance at time of order or at time of delivery

I ordered my hybrid xl on August 29. Spoke to ford customer service 1-800-392-3673 today. They were able to confirm my order was entered through the ROVP and the dealer had ordered my Mav correctly and the order had been accepted. Was told waiting on chips.

I spoke to ford today also. Was able to confirm that my order was put in through ROVP and that my dealer had completed the order process correctly and ford had accepted the order. Was told my order was waiting for chips.

Call ford customer service and explain your situation. Ford has gotten involved with dealers try and mark up a custom order.

Awhile back I read 100k reservations which Ford thought would be 30% ordered. Important to know the true numbers now that orders are closed

I get ya but would you want those $2k options if it took another 4 months? I only removed what I could get aftermarket. For me it’s only now the 360 holding it up. I’ll wait
