I have the same situation on my Lariat that i picked up a week ago. On mine and the examples I've seen, it's always the driver side cable that's slack. If that's the case it's a manufacturing/tooling problem. And, yes, the tailgate drops below level with the bed when it's down. I don't remember...
This is a Camelbak Eddy+ 600 ml (20 oz.). It fits well between the seats or in the forward door pocket under the arm rest, but is too thick for the tall slot behind the arm rest. It has a straw and bite valve and is spill-proof. My wife and I have used them for years.
What's the difference in the driving feel between normal and eco. (I'm on my first tank of gas and have only used normal. I'm still figuring out how the radio and climate control work.)
A little over eight months from my order date. Cactus Gray Lariat with Lux package. I'll drive it a little before I post any reviews. But I will say that the laptop daypack I've been hauling around for a decade (think of it as a purse, or a murse if you murst) fits nicely under the back seat on...
Good review! Thanks!
I'm looking at the Bak G2 & MX4. I think I understand the differences between them, and the most valuable to me is that the MX4 allows you to open and close the tailgate with the cover closed. I'm wondering if anyone has an MX4 and how well this feature works. Is it more...
I agree. But I don't have the car yet, just the manual I downloaded. And the damn thing is daunting! It's over 500 pages! 'Reminds me of my goals to read "Walden Pond" and the Bible.
I didn't get very far in either one.
I just looked at RealTruck and they have both BakFlip and Gator folding, hard tonneaus. The Gator is a little less expensive. Does anyone know how they compare - quality/durability/utility? (I'm expecting my truck in a couple of weeks, but I'm not ordering anything until the sale goes through...
Thanks, Zotman.
I found this in the Maverick owners manual I downloaded,
"What should I do if the vehicle runs out of fuel and the high voltage battery is out of charge? Refuel and start your vehicle normally. The engine will recharge the high voltage battery."
That makes it sound like if I...
If a Maverick sits for months what happens? For an ICE car I put a trickle charger on the battery and some fuel preserver in the tank and it's no problem. From what I've read here that may not work with a hybrid, or at least the Maverick.
