Hahahaha... It is quite silly. I've never seen such a silly "safety feature" as my 2010 Corolla which had a dealer installed remote start that shut the engine off when I touched the door handle to enter the car. So 2 starts to use remote start which caused me to NEVER use remote start again...

With all sincerity, I want to thank Ford for building the Ecoboost Maverick for such a reasonable cost. Times are so uncertain and the middle class is under extreme financial pressure and my purchase of my Maverick EB has really alleviated a great deal of financial stress. No other auto marker...

Ford needs to post a diy video on how to install roof rails on the mav. That's my main disappointment in the mav. Or come out with a Ford/dealer installed roof rails kit. I'm about ready to buy a trailer for my kayaks! I detest those crappy clap on roof rail kits!!

Did you notice the temp of the engine along the trip? I've towed a 3,900 lb pontoon rig only 3.5 miles each way to the launch but the engine temp stays at 4 bars which is the normal temp when warmed up. Thanks

Picked up the mav on 8-8-22, check was cut on 10-7-22 and arrived in mail on 10-17-22. Never inquired on price protection and was very pleasantly surprised to receive the check😁

Hi all, Just received a check in the mail for $264.00 from my dealership which sold me my maverick and the stub simply says "price protection" followed by the last 8 characters of my mav vin! That's what I call solid customer service by Ford and Bill Brown Ford in Livonia Michigan!!😉

Deep sleep doesn't sound like a battery issue but more like a truck computer/wifi and cell phone communication issue. I've gotten this same message with the Ford app. The Wi-Fi on the truck doesn't seem to be registering the cell phone signal so the truck computer is not starting the engine...

Good point about the load in the bed. I trailer a 20' pontoon boat a few miles to the launch and back. I never looked at the rake of the mav while towing. Guess I'll do that the next time I have it hooked up.
