I officially gave up. I’m done with Bakflip. I’m sure they will thrive as a business but I will never shop there again after waiting 3 months. It is up to you to wait it out and get it December next year.

Definitely add a cleaner bass and it no longer sound like the speaker is under a bucket. It does sound cleaner with highs and depending on the source of music the bass has improved but don’t expect a thump speakers with amp. its a nice cheap upgrade under 80 bucks.

I will try to add rubber pieces to compact the far end, and if doesn’t work I’ll do same thing you did or completely take off the hood reflector. Many thanks for the info and your right maybe both weight and wind. I let you know how the rubber piece if it works or not.

The hood movement is from the hood deflector. I had no problem till I installed the hood type 2.

Yep mine shakes the hood will add rubber pieces towards the top to see if it helps. I tried adjusting the 4 round grommets same deal. I have the textured hood deflector

I have same hood deflector and I notice right away after installation even adjusting the grommet underneath same issue.

I have the textured hood deflector and you can clearly see the hood shake at 65/80mph. One user has a video on YouTube maverick hood shakes.
