My guess is. If you are driving on the open road or sitting a long time and your hybrid battery gets on the low side you still have your fully regular battery for your lights, starting, accessories, etc.
I agree Gary. Also The advantage to steel wheels is know by every police department in the US, aluminum cracks with a big impact and steel will bend and still hold air most times. I was going to go XL but for 2,285 you get great looking wheels and Interior, cruise, few other goodies, and...
You know in XLT trim it really doesn't look bad in any color. I do wish the red was candy apple. I went with velocity blue. I haven't seen one in person but dark colors make vehicles look smaller and light colors look bigger to the eye.
The assembly line runs the same speed for all the trim levels. It's not like they speed it up for the cheap XL model or slow it down for the lariat. So it would be the same number of units.
The way I see it If you could make double the profit on a 30,000-35,000 truck instead of a 20,000-25,000 and you can make it at the same speed on the same assembly line Why wouldn’t you. My friend just got his corvette C8 after waiting a year and a half it was a base model. Why do you think the...
To me the beauty of the Maverick is the hybrid MPG, with front wheel dive with the weight over the drive wheel. By the time you add the 2.0 ecoboost and all wheel drive you might as well get a Ranger with a 2.3 eco boost 4X4 that tows 7,000 lbs. I think the 2022 Ranger will have a hybrid option...
Most manufacturer sell the more profitable higher end vehicles first due to the profit margins. Like Tesla‘s decision to offer the single engine cyber truck last.
So my take away is Ford has been perfecting this system since 2005 so it’s is proven and I can get 40mpg in the city without worrying about it failing.
I saw a bronco 4 door in cactus grey at a demo in the sunlight with black steelies. It look all grey to me but my girlfriend could only see mint green. It looked sharp but I'm going velocity blue.
Maybe you know more than Ed Cole Vice President of engineering at Chevy. My original point was Chevy has copied Ford many times and they always seem several steps behind including the Ford Maverick truck. If you look back over the list and be unbiased I'm sure you will agree.
1917 1918 was not mass produced and was unsuccessful, why do you think they made it for two years. A corvair was GM answer to VW. Look it up both were boxer motors IRS etc. beetle, bus, and pickup variants. 53 corvettes were a joke 6 cylinder it was 55 before their V8...
