This is exactly what they told me too. If you add a rebate it conflicts with the order date thus removing the original MSRP/invoice prices that ford originally offered. The price they said back in august was the price I paid.
I had a great experience buying from chapman. Drop ship worked out...
If you did an order and did not walk in to buy it off the lot you should be offered the vehicle at MSRP. Did you sign a DORA with them? Ford has said many times no ADMs on retail orders. If you are walking into a dealership and did not order a vehicle then ADMs are fair game but not on signed...
Ordered two and four bolts for the XL. Should be a nice addition for under 100 bucks.
NZ6Z-60286A72-A Partition - Loading Compartment $32.20 2x
W505424-S450B Mirror Assembly Bolt $2.10 4x
Shipping is about 16 bucks
It was 88 dollars shipped
Thats a used truck thus can command any price someone is willing to pay.
A 1963 Ferrari 250 GTO sold for 52 million dollars. New it was $18,000 should it have been sold for under the new MSRP?
This is the problem with all of this is people are willing to pay these markups thus the markups...
Was at the dealership today(5th largest ford dealer in the US)
The fleet manager said they have less than 1/5th of the normal inventory they used to have.
Its not the dealers fault that there is a shortage of vehicles. If they cant get vehicles from Ford they cant make money or pay their own...
I had the farm bureu credit as well. I did not use it as they said it changes the order date to current and you lose the price protection and the 0 for 36 or 0.9 for 48 rates that ford previously offered. They gave me the choice of using the 500 dollar farm credit and the higher 1.9% rate for 48...
I picked my maverick up today with 10.8 miles on the ODO and wanted to see if the heat shield I saw posted in one of the these threads was in fact melted from the heat or that is just how it looks new.
It appears the melted/crinkled look of it is how its installed brand new from the factory not...
Yupe picked mine up today as well at my courtesy delivery dealership.
Chapman was fantastic and honored everything they said since the beginning.
They sent documents to sign overnight and included a prepaid overnight envelope to send them back. Once they received them they overnight a PA temp...
8/6 order date and picked it up today 3/30
I suspect most people with june/july/august or even september that dont have build dates yet have a spray in bed liner.
XL with moonroof
I figured its a small truck so it will feel more open with the option. Plus here in AZ it will allow the heat to escape hopefully keeping it a bit cooler in the sun.
In the process of purchase currently they are overnighting the documents for me to sign today.
Price was exactly as the original emails showed back in august which was invoice at that time minus 4 percent. They also honored the 0% for 36 or 0.9% for 48 ect that was offered.
I tried to use the...
This seems a bit strange. You posted your build date was 3/7 then 4/4 then 3/21 so it should not be at your dealer yet.
Was it the truck you actually ordered that they said arrived or just they had a maverick arrive and is available for sale?
Dealers should not be adding ADM or any markups on...
Ive noticed a lot of people asking this in various threads so I figured Id make a poll. I know some people waited a few weeks for theirs citing truck driver shortages. Other only took two days.
It seems the Ford tracking website will give an estimated arrival date for your vehicle all the way...
I think some of the ramp codes are missing. Ramp 36 is the Phoenix location for Ford but its also shared by a few other vehicle manufactures. CS1P could be the name given by Union Pacific but ramp 36 is Ford's area at that site.
Oh that is awesome
It shows the AZ dealer for the ship to dealer if I copy the blank text and paste.
Its weird its blank but still has text I wonder if its a website issue or something.
Got a shipped email from ford today. Still shows Chapman on that.
No email yet from Tom. They mentioned here on the forum we needed to pay a drop ship hold charge but they never asked me to pay that or how much. They did send an email to verify the dealer code when it was schedule back in...
I just sent an email about it
Ill update when they respond back
Others have asked about this I assume the emails from ford are just automated and just show the order dealer via the order number but dont consider courtesy deliveries or any other different dealer information
