The Peaks are good too. It will boil down to price probably for me. So in my opinion the extra $800 is not worth it unless you really need the Winter and Off road tires. I don't like noisy tires either.
The Pirelli Scorpion's are a good tire and they're quiet. I've had no problems driving on wet and snowy roads with my FX4 XLT. When these wear out, I will consider replacing them with the Scorpions again. I've got 13k+ miles on them so far.
I've always thought of them as for smokers as not to get wet while they flick their ashes out or flick their butts outside onto the roads. They look ok as bling. I've got lots of accessories on mine but the two most useful have been the tonneau cover and especially the vertical cargo net.
Except for VIN Positions 5,6,7, all other positions should follow protocol.
It depends on which model:

Go with the 4K + FX4 packages that come with the additional upgrades. Well worth it. You'll be glad you got the Ecoboost and 8-speed transmission too. I'm very happy with mine.
I like my ExTang Tri-fecta 2.0. It's a soft folding one. I wasn't a fan of Tonneau covers until I got one. I got it at tonneaucoversworld for about $400.
I think the Tremor will do well in that environment. Last November while in North Dakota and Minnesota, I could have benefited from the improved approach angle when tackling the snow banks. I came up on one and I heard the snow rubbing against the skid plates and I thought maybe I damaged the...
I've got over 13K miles on my Ecoboost. Most of those miles were on two separate trips from Northern Alabama to North Dakota and back and again from Alabama to Ontario, Canada and back. Both trips went smoothly with no problems. So far I am very happy with my Maverick.
The front plates are 12 inches long while the rears are 8 inches. There's not enough flat area in the rear door jam for the fronts to be put on the rears.
I know it would be expensive but I think they would look good chrome. But a less expensive option to put beauty rings on like the rally's on GM's older pickup wheels.
I like the Tremor, but perfectly happy with my FX4, 4K Tow equipped Mav which has more capability when it comes to towing. I would not trade mine in for a brand new Tremor. I wonder if it's geared the same as a standard AWD vs. one with Tow package.
