Mines been this way for a while, over a week, but I cant do anything because you need the vehicle to be physically present in order to pair it. I really wish I could track it though!
Would you mind removing the license plate and seeing how it's actually mounted? A lot of people are concerned they drill holes, but it looks too me like it's similar to my F-150 and they could have cleats that are gripping the lip of the bumper.
Can't speak to milage as I haven't driven one, but I've sat in a lariat and an XLT and found the seats were very comfortable. To each their own I suppose.
As someone who likes to do their own vehicle maintenance I'd like to know this as well. The pictures and videos we've seen of the underside aren't very promising.
This features has been around for a long time. My 08 F-150s tailgate had the same trick. I tried it the other day to get feel for how it would work. It appears to be an identical mechanism.
My 08 F-150 had the small chocolate thing, as you described. It was closer to the passenger side and was for SiriusXM. It also had a traditional whip antenna on the passenger side fender. I think the bigger shark fins are because they include mobile radios now.
They offered me 7.6k, so that's something I guess. Going to submit some receipts for recent work and see if I can bump it up a little, but it isn't the worst offer.
Thanks. For a vehicle like mine vroom and carvana offers aren't helpful. It was a high milage 08, they offered me 4k for it. The value is in private selling as it's worth north of 10k currently, but honestly if I can get over 8 I'll be happy at this point.
Yea, these are my main concerns. If it's repairable I'm screwed. It'll take over a month to fix, I'm sure, then I'll need to try to sell a truck thats been in a wreck.
That said, if it is totaled, I'll be dealing with my insurance company as they don't wait once liability is established...
Oh man, I am going through the same thing. Someone tried to do do a U-turn in front of me last Thursday morning and and most likely totaled my F-150. I'm still waiting to hear what the repair estimate is, but with my Maverick arriving between the 5th-11th the next few weeks just got much more...
Having seen it in multiple scenarios and on multiple vehicles yesterday, I have to disagree. What we see in pictures isn't what I've seen in reality. That powdery blue tint we see sometimes in pictures is a trick of the camera lens.
After having seen both in person today, I'd switch if mine wasn't velocity blue already. I originally ordered area 51, but it's actually kinda boring in person, IMHO. Way more grey than blue.
I was really excited to finally get to see and sit in the Maverick at the state fair today. I was really surprised at how I felt seeing it in person. Mostly I felt like pictures do not do this truck justice. The lines and curves are subtle, but feel very masculine compared to what I thought it...
