Iāve seen a lot of market adjustments negotiated down to hundreds from thousands from posters on this site. Dealers goose them up by several thousand and maybe only sell one or two that way if any at all. Vehicle sits a while and they need to turn it to earn more allocation. So the buyer...
Yep, a lot of folks are buying more vehicles than they need, expecting to flip them for more money later but thatās a super dangerous game. I did it for a while and made some good money but stopped while I was ahead. Some folks will get hurt later this year when used car prices drop back down...
Definitely more cost to repair/replace and a couple of hundred to recalibrate after windshield replaceme too. We have it on my wifes bronco sport and love it. Wheel vibrates if you go outside of your lane. Does it too if you donāt signal and change lanes. Do it enough and it will tell you to...
Probably wonāt get much for either after 8 years. This is still the replacement for the lower end of Fordās economy segment. Ford gets props for making it fun but eventually depreciation always wins.
Yep totally agree. Except I was thinking horse sh#t. Guess OP hasnāt heard of owning a home, installing electrical charging in the garage of said home, or installing solar panels on said home, taking advantage of tax breaks for solar panel installation, etc.
Yep, thoroughly uninformed and nothing to back up interest in the Maverick but sales numbers, which have lagged orders since the start of production. Probably written by someone who cancelled their order and couldnāt wait, lol
Hoping the best for your order and that it gets built soon but the response sounds more like a boiler plate, non-answer, answer. It may get scheduled based on the number of months youāve waited though.
Apparently, you didnāt care enough to follow any sort of order. I emailed you 45 minutes after the post. If you donāt care, thatās fine. Itās a hard pass. Best of luck gaming the Ford allocation system.
Also used vehicle prices are set to drop next year overall, according to a report from KPMG. While I do believe the Maverick will sell well, secondary markets react in advance of new vehicle production meeting demand. Itās more of a leading, not a lagging indicator if that makes sense. I...
Oh yes, very hot and humid in summer. We were more on the SC side though, Fort Mill. I do miss the people, restaurants, having everything I needed downtown, and all service oriented. Those were the best doctors, dentists, optometrists, I can recall having. Very professional.
Itās funny how...
Weather is very nice if you like a warm climate and mild winters. We grew banana trees, basjoo and they fruited. Restaurants are phenomenal and so are the people. Many have banking backgrounds, which brings in folks from all over, great melting pot. The only thing that sucks is the traffic...
Nothing involving people is ever simple. That being said, new vehicle production meeting demand will impact used vehicle prices whenever that happens, 2022-2023. Consumers will simply choose new over used if everything else remains the same, especially price. As for market adjustments, weāve...
Interesting read, supply/demand for new vehicles are expected to reach equilibrium by October 2022. Hoping that new vehicles, like the maverick are able to get caught up next year.

Definitely a wear your brown pants day for sure. I would be surprised if California wasnāt already aware/working cases. The only thing saving the dealerships is probably time and bureaucracy.
Again not a licensed attorney but the penalties may be quite severe for the dealership and maybe even Ford if the case were successful:
Section 753 prohibits false advertising. Under Section 756.1, the Attorney General or a district attorney can bring an action upon knowing about a...
